Reward offered for info about puppies
The King George Animal Rescue League is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to the conviction of whoever was responsible for dumping puppies at the King George County Landfill last week.
“We are thrilled that the surviving pups have found a home, but this was a horrible act and we encourage anyone who might have information to contact the Sheriff’s Department at (540) 775-2049 or the Animal Shelter at (540) 775-2120,” said Jeron Hayes, president of KGARL.
The King George group is among many in the region that will help pet owners with low-cost spaying and neutering. More information is available here.
