West Side Story comes to the market
The Jets and the Sharks will mingle with the egg farmers and the kale growers on Saturday at the King George Farmers Market.
Market visitors will be treated to a sneak preview of King George High School’s “West Side Story” at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Director David Richards and his assistant, Andi Fines, have agreed to bring a little bit of the show to the public. It will be the first “Art in the Open” at the market this year.
The market opens at 8 a.m. on Saturday, in the parking lot of the King George Elementary School. Listen for the finger-snapping about 10 a.m.
