Now that’s a resolution
On Tuesday, the supervisors commended Anita Churchill for her five-year service as a member of the Economic Development Authority.
Supervisor Joe Grzeika was almost breathless, literally, when he got to the end of reading the lengthy resolution. It cited numerous accomplishments during Churchill’s tenure, including buying 43 acres in the King George Industrial Park and attracting the businesses of Gerdau Ameristeel, Superior Paving and Mid-Atlantic Precast.
Churchill, a banker at Peoples Community, also took an active role in planning the annual King George Business Appreciation Event.
