Old school, new stadium up for discussion
Tomorrow night, the supervisors are supposed to discuss the School Board’s recent decision to ask that money be spent on the aging Potomac Elementary School instead of the new stadium at King George High School.
School Superintenent Candace Brown asked County Administrator Travis Quesenberry to bring it up to before the board, and so it’s on the agenda. Only three supervisors are scheduled to attend the meeting: Chairman Dale Sisson Jr., Joe Grzeika and James Mullen.
Supervisor Cedell Brooks Jr. is recovering from a stroke or series of strokes he reportedly suffered on Nov. 22. The latest word is that he’s undergoing rehab at a Richmond facility. Supervisor John LoBuglio will be away tomorrow night.
