We hear ya, Joe

At Tuesday’s Board of Supervisors meeting, Joe Grzeika commented that he’d been talking with friends in Connecticut who haven’t been pelted with snow the way our region has.

“I don’t know what’s going on,” he said, “but I hope it changes soon.”

Me, too.

Other board members agreed with Grzeika that roads were cleared much better after the Jan. 30 storm than the one in December.

“I think VDOT did a lot better,” said Supervisor Cedell Brooks Jr., adding that the dry snow of Jan. 30 was easier to move than the wet snow on Dec. 19.

Guess we’ll see what kind of winter weather we’ll get tomorrow. How many days until spring?
