Should market be KG products only?
All the supervisors supported the idea of the farmers market, but Cedell Brooks Jr. is wondering why sales should be limited to produce from King George fields, forests and waters.
A recent Food story in The Free Lance–Star featured the various markets in the region, and King George’s was the only one that limited sales to growers from the county. Brooks wondered if that shouldn’t be expanded, especially in the spring when local gardens haven’t yielded much.
