Tigers on 206?
Is someone in King George seeing things? Or is the county cultivating some pretty big cats these days?
Supervisor Cedell Brooks Jr. reported Tuesday night that one of his constituents heard about tigers in the State Route 206 area. He wondered what the laws are pertaining to exotic wildlife.
County Attorney Matt Britton couldn’t let the “Wizard-of-Oz” moment pass.
“Without a permit, you cannot raise, keep or show lions, tigers and bears, oh my!” he said.
If you’ve seen any of the big cats in the King George area, please let me know.
