Survivor of triple shooting tells her story
Laura Reeves, the Spotsylvania County woman who survived a triple shooting at her home near Chancellorsville Battlefield in September 2012, spoke to the media for the first time today.
Reeves, now 53, has undergone several surgeries to repair the damage to her elbow and abdomen and thanks the medical personnel who saved her life and her left arm.
She speaks about the mother she lost that day and the brother who was responsible for the shootings.
I’ll have a full story later online and in Tuesday’s Free Lance-Star.
Fredericksburg.com videographer Alex Russell will also have video of Ms. Reeves from today.
