Healthy Life Virginia debuts: Recipes, stress relief tips and more
I’m excited to announce the launch of the Healthy Life Virginia, a free e-newsletter offering health-related news and advice every weekday morning. The first edition went out early this morning with information designed to inspire, encourage, inform and promote deeper connections to our community.
Each weekday, newsletter recipients will get a dinner and lunch recipe, a stress reduction strategy, the latest health and parenting news and a description of an exercise you can do quickly, almost anywhere, with little or no gear. The newsletter also features a calendar of upcoming health-related events, plus information about how to make a difference in the community.
If you got the debut edition, I hope you enjoyed it, and you don’t need to do anything to keep getting it sent to your computer or mobile device. If you didn’t get the newsletter this morning but would like to from now on, go to fredericksburg.com/gethealthy and enter your email address. If you got the newsletter today but think it’s not right for you, I hope you’ll give it another chance, but you can click on the opt-out link at the bottom of the email.
And if you have an idea to share — especially recipes or news of upcoming events – please send me a note at email@example.com. The Healthy Life Virginia newsletter will facilitate the sharing of good, health-related ideas in our community. And I hope it will solve some of the daily dilemmas many of us face — about what to make for dinner, how to ease stress and how to squeeze in some exercise. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with your thoughts.
