Accept the challenge: Take a pushup break
Spend a lot of your day sitting at a desk? Think there isn’t time to exercise? Check out this video of the Workplace Movement Challenge that doctors, nurses and staff at Chancellor Internal Medicine have put into place with help from trainer Trish Blackwell:

Scroll down to the video posted under the heading “What Does The Workplace Movement Challenge Look Like, Well, In The Workplace?”
You’ll see employees at the Spotsylvania County medical practice doing pushups, swinging a kettlbell and doing calf raises in narrow hallways. You’ll see a physician lifting light weights while standing on a balance ball in a tight office space. You’ll see, in other words, that spending your day in an office is no reason not to exercise.
Dr. Christopher Lillis wrote about the Workplace Movement Challenge in his Sunday Healthy Living column, which also talks about his — and the country’s — problems with obesity. If you missed it, you can check it out here: http://news.fredericksburg.com/healthyliving/
