Geriatric care focus of Saturday event
The SeniorCare Geriatric Medical Center at Cosner’s Corner is holding an open house Saturday, Jan. 28 for seniors and their loved ones, health professionals and others interested in the health of older adults.
Attendees can get their vitamin D levels tested for free and undergo a free assessment of their falling risk. Refreshments will be served.
Dr. Samuel Umesegha, the staff geriatrician, and Dr. Wayland Marks, a longtime local geriatrician, will speak at the event, which is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The center is located at 4710 Spotsylvania Parkway, Suite 204.
