Flu shots
It’s not to late to get vaccinated against this season’s most likely flu strains, and Fredericksburg United Methodist Church is offering free shot clinics this week for anyone 3 or older. Those 3-49 can get a shot or flu mist; those 50 and up can get a shot.
There’s no pre-registration requirement or fee, and the doses will be administered by health department nurses, said Paula Zero, the church’s communications chairwoman.
Here’s the schedule for shots at the downtown church on Hanover Street:
- tonight from 5:45-6:30 p.m. in room #2/youth room
- Wednesday from 4:45-6:30 p.m. in room 112/Browning room
- Thursday, 5:45-6:30 p.m. in the parlor
- Friday, 5:45-6:30 p.m. in room 2/youth room
