HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Cyclones get conference victory

Chayton Lukkes finished 2 for 3 with an RBI double and Nate Yates added an RBI triple to help Eastern View get a 5–2 Conference 22 win over visiting Fauquier on Tuesday.

Jacob Settle also added a hit for the Cyclones (6–4, 3–2), who visit William Monroe today.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 9, LIBERTY 3

Jackson Galvin was 2 for 3 with an RBI double, and Jake Hall had two hits and three RBIs to help Mountain View get a nonconference win on the road.

David Slupek added two doubles for the Wildcats (7–8), who visit Massaponax next Tuesday.

Rappahannock’s Hallie Berger struck out seven batters en route to their victory over Washington & Lee on Tuesday.
