Tony Barnett scored 20 points and Massaponax rallied past King George for a 58–53 boys basketball victory Monday night.

Anthony Howard had 18 points for the Foxes (5–5).

Julian Swinton contributed seven rebounds and six assists for the Black-Hawks, who host Stafford tonight.

Nick Cook poured in a career-high 25 points and added nine rebounds as the James Monroe gave Julian Bumbrey his first win as boys basketball coach, 74–54 over Manassas Park Monday.

Dre’Jon Boley had a solid all-around night with 11 points, nine assists, six rebounds and two blocks for the Yellow Jackets.

Antonio Edwards pulled down 11 board for JM, which visits Courtland tonight.

Victoria Washington added 10 points and six rebounds for Massaponax (9–5), and Alexis Willis had 10 assists. The Panthers held area scoring leader Kourtni Simmons to eight points.
