HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Drifters win to stay unbeaten

The Colonial Beach girls basketball team kept its record perfect with a 51–19 victory at Lancaster on Thursday night.

Billie Gould led the Drifters with 13 points and Alexia Wilson added 10 points. Gould also pulled down 12 rebounds and Sydni Carey recorded seven assists.

Colonial Beach travels to Brooke Point on Monday.

The Fredericksburg Academy Falcons outscored Emmanuel Christian 12–0 in the third quarter en route to their win Thursday night.

Carolyn Topps, Rayvn Galimore and Sarah Eadie each scored eight points for the Falcons. Topps also recorded seven rebounds, two blocks and five steals.

Fredericksburg Academy returns to action Tuesday against Tandem Friends.

Simi Aderibigbe scored 18 points and Jake Adams added 17 for the Falcons, who host Tandem Friends on Tuesday.
