HIGH SCHOOL ROUNDUP: Gould, Lucas lead Drifters

Montie Gould and Lamar Lucas each scored a game-high 19 points to help the Colonial Beach boys basketball team slip by homestanding Essex, 63–61, on Tuesday night.

Gould also grabbed eight boards and handed out five assists for the Drifters, who host Lancaster on Thursday.

Trey Brown poured in 36 points, including seven 3-pointers, and added six assists and five steals to help visiting Washington & Lee get a win.
