BOYS BASKETBALL ROUNDUP: Carter delivers for Wolverines

Keyon Carter went 5 for 6 from the free-throw line and scored seven of North Stafford’s nine points in overtime to help the Wolverines get a 52–46 boys basketball win at Brooke Point on Tuesday night.

Mike Nugent had 13 points, 13 rebounds and three blocks for the Black–Hawks, who visit Liberty today.

North Stafford visits Colonial Beach on Friday.

Marco Haskins scored 15 points, recorded three steals and grabbed six rebounds to help the Eagles to the victory.

Lucas Brown had 33 points to carry the Mountain View boys basketball team to a 62–54 win at Stafford on Tuesday night.

Elijah Burruss scored 10 points with E.J. Fisher and Darren Robinson each scoring six points for Mountain View.

Quan Evans tallied a team-high 19 points and Brandon Brown had 14 points and 10 rebounds for Stafford, which next play Dec. 27, in the L.C. Bird Classic.
