Gary Jennings and Remone Miller ran for first-quarter touchdowns and Colonial Forge held Patrick Henry to 135 total yards in a 21–0 shutout victory Friday night in Roanoke.

The Eagles (3–2) forced four turnovers and took a quick 14–0 lead. After Jennings’ 15-yard scoring run, Patrick Henry fumbled the ensuing kickoff, and Miller scored two plays later from 5 yards out.

Damen Daniel hit Austin Hall on a 3-yard fourth-quarter touchdown pass for Colonial Forge, which hosts Brooke Point next Friday.

 

LOUISA 14, CHARLOTTESVILLE 13

BOX SCORE

Trey Cherry ran for a pair of first-quarter touchdowns and Louisa held on for a victory at Charlottesville.

The host Knights missed on a third-quarter two-point conversion try, helping Louisa’s 14–0 first-quarter lead stand up.

The Lions (2–2) host Powhatan next Friday.
