North Stafford WR commits to FCS program

North Stafford rising senior wide receiver Brandon Ravenel orally committed to James Madison University Wednesday, Wolverines coach Joe Mangano said.

Ravenel had scholarship offers from several Football Bowl Subdivision programs, but ultimately chose the Dukes, who compete at the Football Championship Subdivision level.

West Virginia, Purdue and Boston College are among the schools that extended offers to Ravenel, who caught 59 passes for 1,010 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2011.
