Does your 6th grader still need a Tdap booster?

Virginia requires all sixth graders to receive a booster tetanus‐diphtheria‐pertussis [Tdap] vaccine prior to the first day of school.

In Spotsylvania, the Tdap vaccine can be obtained free by appointment at the Spotsylvania County Health Department.

The health department will be holding these free Tdap clinics in Thursday, Aug. 29 at the following locations:

  • Chancellor Middle     9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Chancellor Middle     4 p.m. -   7:30 p.m.
  • Thornburg Middle     9 a.m. – 11 a.m.
  • Thornburg Middle     4 p.m. -   7:30 p.m.
