Board vote on 2013-14 calendar is Monday

The Spotsylvania School Board on Monday will decide the 2013-14 school-year calendar from among three options.
So far, I’m told that Option B is out of the running so it’s down to Options A and C. Option A has a Sept. 3 start. Option C starts Aug. 26. I’ll have a full story on the issue this weekend.
It’s not too late to weigh in with your choice. You can contact your School Board representative.

Monday’s meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. and returns to the administration building, 8020 River Stone Drive.
That night the board will also listen to public comment on next year’s budget.
