Reminder: Friday is a regular school day
Spotsylvania schools will be operating this Friday. This is a make-up day for missing school on Oct. 29 when Superstorm Sandy passed through.
Students will also be in class on Feb. 18 to make up for Oct. 30.
And, while we’re at it, here are the make-up days from snow.
- March 1 for Jan. 24
- March 15 for Jan. 25
Speaking of make-up days, if the Calendar Committee’s recommendation is followed, students wouldn’t make up the first five days of class missed because of bad weather during the 2013-14 school year.
That is the case for all three calendar options presented to the School Board by the committee. The board is scheduled to make its choice at Monday’s meeting.
