Spotsy presenting calendar options on Monday
UPDATE: Here’s a link to today’s story.
***
The Spotsylvania school division will present three options for the 2013-14 school year-calendar at Monday’s School Board meeting.
Two options will be to begin classes the day after Labor Day, schools spokeswoman Rene Daniels said.
A final decision on next year’s calendar is to be made by the board on Feb. 11. Between Monday and Feb. 11, people can provide input directly to the division or their board member. They can also speak at the Feb. 11 meeting.
I’ll have a full report on this soon online and in The Free Lance-Star.
On Monday, Superintendent Scott Baker will also present his budget proposal for next year.
