Blalock elected chair of Spotsylvania School Board for 2013
Spotsylvania’s School Board just elected Amanda Blalock as its chair for 2013. Ray Lora nominated her and Jim Meyer made the motion in support of her selection.
She was chosen by unanimous vote.
Jim Meyer was reelected as vice chairman. This is his second consecutive year in that position. He was nominated by Dawn Shelley and voted in unanimously.
Blalock’s husband and her two youngest children, twins, were present for the meeting.
