Spotsy extends grading period because of ‘Sandy’
The Spotsylvania County school division is extending the nine-week grading period to Friday as a result of the two missed school days this week. The division closed schools on Monday and Tuesday because of Hurricane Sandy.
Students will still receive report cards on Nov. 8 as originally scheduled.
Monday and Tuesday of next week (Nov. 5 and 6) will still be student holidays and teacher workdays. Tuesday is also Election Day.
