Freedom Middle issues ‘Dress for Success’ reminder
Freedom Middle School Principal Alan Jacobs issued a reminder to parents today about proper attire for children in the classroom.
He joins other principals who have issued similar reminders this summer. Though some youth think it’s stylish to bare their boxers, educators disagree and are insisting that pants be pulled up. No sagging trousers allowed. Invest in a belt.
Local principals also have banned cleavage in class.
The community has responded in agreement with this business-like approach to the academic environment.
Below are the essentials for Freedom students outlined by Mr. Jacobs in his message labeled “Dress for Success.”
- Ensure that shorts and skirts are finger-tip length
- Pants are to be worn at the waist, not sagging etc.
- Leggings are only to be worn with a shirt/dress that is finger tip length
- Tops should be of a modest cut/design (no cleavage)
