Next Wednesday, the University of Mary Washington and Germanna Community College will sign co-enrollment and direct transfer agreements that will make it easier for Germanna students to take classes at UMW and transfer there, UMW public information director Marty Morrison just announced.
The co-enrollment agreement means eligible Germanna students will be able to sign up for up to five UMW courses while enrolled at Germanna, Morrison said.
The direct transfer agreement will enable eligible Germanna students to transfer into UMW’s bachelor of liberal studies program.
The agreements are to be formalized next Wednesday on the UMW campus.
I’ll have more details in tomorrow’s Free Lance-Star and online later.
