Keith Wolfe moving from Post Oak to Chancellor Middle

Post Oak Principal Keith Wolfe is moving to Chancellor Middle.

Post Oak Middle School Principal Keith Wolfe will be transferring to Chancellor Middle School as of July 1.

The School Board approved his selection at a special meeting held Thursday.

Wolfe previously spent seven years as an assistant principal at Chancellor High School.

He has worked at four of Spotsylvania County’s five high schools. He started  as an earth science teacher at Courtland and Spotsylvania high schools from 1993-98.

He then transferred to Massaponax High where he taught earth science while working part-time as an administrative intern for one year. During the 1999-2000 school year, he was a full-time administrative intern.

Wolfe was named Post Oak Middle School’s principal in 2007, moving there from Chancellor High.
The school division plans to post the Post Oak principal position early this week, schools spokeswoman Rene Daniels said.
Daniels released this statement from Principal Wolfe:
“I have enjoyed being principal at Post Oak Middle School and will miss the staff, students, and parents,” said Mr. Wolfe.  “I worked at Chancellor High School for seven years and I am familiar with the Chancellor community.  I am excited about this opportunity and look forward to working with the Chancellor Middle School students, parents, and staff.”
