Spotsylvania school officials were slated to meet this morning to talk about how to deal with the recent rash of bomb threats at Wilderness Elementary and Ni River Middle School.
Students were evacuated from Ni River Middle School Wednesday after a bomb threat was found inside a student restroom at 1:10 p.m.
That threat delayed the release of students from Ni River and impacted the bus schedules of four elementary schools. It also meant afternoon SOL tests at Ni River had to be rescheduled.
Wednesday’s was the third bomb threat at Ni River Middle School this year, according to schools spokeswoman Rene Daniels. Wilderness Elementary has had two, including one earlier this week.
