Redinger gets hefty pay hike in Spokane contract, Spokesman-Review reports
UPDATE: Spokane schools spokeswoman Terren Roloff tells me that Dr. Redinger’s contract is not yet finalized and won’t be until Wednesday night.
Outgoing Spotsylvania Superintendent Shelley K. Redinger will get a $54,000 raise in her next position as head of Spokane (Wash.) Public Schools, according to a report in today’s Spokesman-Review.
Redinger’s Spotsylvania contract pays her $186,000 annually, including salary and benefits.
The newspaper in Washington state reports that Redinger’s full package will total $240,000, which is $17,000 more than the superintendent she is succeeding currently earns.
Redinger was released from her Spotsylvania contract at Monday’s School Board meeting. She starts in Spokane on July 1.
