Spotsylvania High raised at least $92,000 in Relay for Life event
Spotsylvania High School was just recognized for its Relay for Life event held this past Friday and Saturday. The event that benefits the American Cancer Society raised at least $92,000, Principal Rusty Davis told the School Board in response to a question from board member Amanda Blalock.
The goal had been for the school to raise $78,000 this year.
Board member Ray Lora also commended the principal and the school for its event that serves the needs of the community.
