* TIMING…THE STRONGEST WINDS WILL BE THIS EVENING.
* WINDS…SOUTHWEST EARLY THIS EVENING 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP 50 MPH…BECOMING WEST DURING THE MID EVENING.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS: A WIND ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND GUSTS OVER 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED. WINDS THIS STRONG CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT…ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. USE EXTRA CAUTION.
The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for the Fredericksburg region until 8 p.m.
That includes Spotsylvania, Stafford, Orange, King George, and Culpeper counties and the city of Fredericksburg.
