School bus rear-ended near battlefield; students safe
A fully loaded Spotsylvania school bus carrying students from Riverbend High School was rear-ended by a van about 3 p.m. today, schools spokeswoman Rene Daniels said.
Rescue personnel checked out all passengers and found no injuries. The students were placed on a second bus and continued home, Daniels said.
The accident happened on State Route 3 westbound near the Chancellorsville Battlefield visitor center.
