US Women’s team in soccer final
The U.S. Women’s Soccer Team plays in the World Cup final this afternoon.
I’ll be watching the game with some local players.
You can also catch some insight from women’s team player Ali Krieger who speaks on the team’s web site. (ussoccer.com) Ali is from Dumfries in Prince William County but has spent the past few years in Frankfurt where she’s been playing.
UPDATE: Yes, we all know by now that the U.S. women’s team lost in yesterday’s Women’s World Cup final but you can check out today’s story and learn about the local team that watched. That team is made up of girls from Spotsylvania and Stafford counties.
