David Sovine hired as superintendent by Frederick County
Frederick County schools in Virginia just announced that David Sovine will be that division’s next superintendent.
Sovine had been announced to become assistant superintendent of instruction for Spotsylvania starting July 1. Instead, he will be leaving the division.

Dr. David T. Sovine New Superintendent
The Frederick County School Board has named Dr. David T. Sovine to be the next Superintendent of Frederick County Public Schools. Dr. Sovine currently serves as the Executive Director of K-12 Curriculum and Secondary Education with Spotsylvania County Public Schools in Fredericksburg. He will succeed Patricia Taylor who is retiring effective June 30.
