Livingston District board seat garnering interest
The next School Board election is still nine months away but two people have already expressed interest in the Livingston District seat currently held by Ray Lora, according to records with the county registrar.
Kirk Twigg of Sunnybrook Farm Road filed a statement of organization in December.
David A. Brennan of Fawn Lake Parkway filed a declaration of candidacy with the registrar last month.
Four of the seven School Board seats will be on the ballot for the November race. Those are for the Chancellor, Courtland, Livingston and Salem districts.
Salem District board member Don Holmes has already said he is running for his district’s board of supervisors seat.
