School Board gets OK to delay budget approval
The Spotsylvania County School Board has gotten the OK to delay approval of its fiscal 2012 budget until March 14.
A public hearing will be added after that date but has not yet been scheduled, board Chairman Gil Seaux told me this morning.
This delay allows the board time to get a better idea of state funding, which will play into the pay it can give employees for the coming year.
The board next meets on Feb. 14.
