Superintendent Search Proceeding
The Spotsylvania County School Board is meeting in closed session tonight and tomorrow night to interview consultant candidates. The board plans to hire a consultant to help the board find the next superintendent.
Superintendent Jerry Hill is retiring at the end of the 2010-11 school year, taking part in the division’s early retirement program.
The board hopes to name a new superintendent by spring.
