Budget vote scheduled for Monday
The Spotsylvania County School Board is scheduled to vote Monday night on the fiscal 2011 budget, that figures in $14.7 million in cuts from the current year’s budget.
The board is also expected to give preliminary approval to a furlough policy. However, that policy is not currently scheduled to be implemented.
All meetings include public comment time if anyone has any additional thoughts before the board acts on those issues.
Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. at the Administrative Services Building, 8020 River Stone Drive in the Massaponax area of the county.
The meeting can go forward even if students get another snow day on Monday.
