GCC offering Surgical Scrub Nursing course

Surgical Scrub Nursing is a 12-credit course completed in one semester at Germanna[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0gY8QiPCAo[/youtube]. The program is designed for Licensed Practical Nurses to train as a scrub nurse in an operating room setting. The course is a combination of a lecture/OR lab portion conducted at the Locust Grove Campus and a clinical experience portion offered at Fredericksburg area operating rooms. The course is conducted on Tues/Wed/Thurs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for 16 weeks. The next course begins Jan. 10, 2011. Please contact jcorwin@germanna.edu for additional information.
