Spotsylvania winter farmer’s market Saturday
The second of three scheduled winter farmers markets in Spotsylvania County will take place this Saturday (Feb. 9) from 9 a.m. until noon at the Gordon Road commuter lot.
Market Manager Elizabeth Borst reports that 10 to 12 producers are expected, selling fall and winter vegetables, pork, eggs, cheese, baked goods, jams and jellies, tea, mushrooms, microgreens and plants and flowers.
The third and final winter market before the main season reopens April 20 is scheduled for March 9, weather permitting.
