Mason-Dixon Baking Co., a restaurant and bakery in Spotsylvania County’s Bowman Center, opened for business earlier this month. You can read about the eatery, and about owner and chef Kelly Hunt, in this post by Bill Freehling. One of Hunt’s former colleagues at Wegmans actually flagged me down in the store the other day to tell me how good Hunt’s food is.
The Cheesecake Factory‘s bakery will supply some of the items in the cafe at the new Barnes & Noble set to open in Central Park Nov. 7. The cafe will also serve Starbucks coffee. Details here.
