Northern Neck farmer’s essay recognized

Lawrence Latane, who runs Blenheim Organic Gardens in Westmoreland County with his wife, Becky, received honorable mention in an essay contest called “Farmers Market Inspiration” put on by the Farmers Market Coalition.

Latane’s essay is a nice piece of writing that offers a glimpse at how the family built their farm, and what kind of relationships they develop with their customers.

You can find a link to the essay, and a little bit more about the contest, here.
