Spotsylvania’s A. Smith Bowman distillery holds a grand opening today to unveil the first stage of its progress toward becoming a public attraction. The distillery is now offering public tours and product tastings and has a gift shop selling the company’s whiskey, rum, vodka and gin as well as company apparel, used whiskey barrels, glassware, sauces and more.
