Food News: Bye-bye, Bloom and Bottom Dollar

Bloom and Bottom Dollar stores in our area will convert back to Food Lion stores. Food Lion’s parent company is retiring the Bloom banner completely, and is refocusing the Bottom Dollar banner on other markets and smaller stores. For couponers, the Bloom stores had become particularly popular for their monthly double coupon days. Store conversions will begin immediately. Bill Freehling has more details here.
