Local farmer: Market is “missing link” between growers and consumers
Area chefs have sung the praises of local farmer John Biscoe for some time now. But last year, Biscoe began selling produce from his Glenburnie farm in Spotsylvania County through area farmers’ markets.
He can now be found on Saturday mornings at the Spotsylvania County market at the Gordon Road commuter lot.
Earlier this month, Biscoe shared his thoughts on the benefits of the farmers’ market with a U.S. Dept. of Agriculture blog.
