A haunting good time at the reservoir

Double, Double Toil and Trouble!  Fredericksburg Parks & Recreation is brewing up a batch of spooks, chills and thrills at Motts Run Reservoir from 6:40 – 8 p.m on Saturday, Oct. 19.  Register now to walk the trail of spooks and spiders to the shore for a roasting-fire! This event will warm you with hot chocolate and roasted marshmallows, and then chill you to the bone with spooky stories and other surprises.

Dress warmly and bring a flashlight and blanket. Amphitheatre seating provided. This one can be a little scary, and is recommended for children ages 5 and older.  The cost is $6 per person.  Pre-registration required.  You can sign up by visiting the Dorothy Hart Community Center in Fredericksburg or online at
