Fun candy-free valentines for your child’s class
Valentine’s Day is coming up. If your child’s class exchanges valentines, you probably know that many include a piece of candy. And sending in a valentine without candy might seem like giving out raisins for Halloween. But here are some cute ideas that kids will love so much they won’t even notice they have no sugar:
Bouncy ball valentines: the blog Super Mom Moments suggests this fun idea for giving those small bouncing balls as valentines. The link above includes a link to download the labels so you can make these for your child’s class.
Paging Supermom offers an idea–and a printable label–for giving out whoopee cushions for valentines.
Handing out fruit doesn’t sound like fun, but when you add the adorable labels from Twig and Thistle, apples, oranges and bananas make perfect love notes.
The Armelle blog offers a cute valentine using those little bottles of bubbles.
These Lego hearts are perfect for older kids–especially those who love to use the building blocks.
You could also try these glow stick valentines or these friendship bracelet notes of affection.
