Can your baby read your mind?

You already watch what you say around your baby. Now you might want to be careful about your thoughts too.

A new study has found that babies as young as 18 months can guess what another person is thinking, LiveScience reports.

Scientists were studying cultural differences in being able to read minds. In previous studies, children from Western countries picked up on the ability at a much younger age than children from other countries. So the study looked at babies and children from China, Fiji and Ecuador.

They found that cultural differences were affecting how children responded to the original tests–and that children pick up the ability to guess someone’s thoughts at a much younger age than earlier thought.
