Planning to attend a parade this weekend? You’ll be in good company and will have several to choose from.
The fun kicks off Saturday, 1 p.m. in Spotsylvania County. This year’s “Christmas in Hawaii” parade will start at Spotsylvania Middle School and will feature floats, horses, carriages, lots of vehicles, walking performers and Santa Claus.
That evening, you will have your choice of two parades:
A “Candy Christmas” parade will start 5 p.m. on Main Street in Bowling Green.
The Fredericksburg Jaycees’ “Once Upon A Christmas” parade will start at 5:30 p.m. at the corner of Caroline and Charlotte streets and will feature about 100 floats and displays.
Here is a map of the two-hour parade:
And you can get some more details from city reporter Robyn Sidersky here.
On Sunday, you’ll get another chance to see a parade, 4 p.m. on Main Street in Orange County. The theme will be “Christmas Around the World.”
